The cadence of news in transportation electrification is remarkably consistent. Each new report reinforces the same two themes:
Battery and related technology advances are accelerating, bringing the point of cost parity closer and making the adoption ramp steeper (more rapid).
The grid can't keep up with the pace of deployment required to charge the numbers of vehicles implied by those forecasts.
Electric Farm Vehicles (EFV) - tractors - benefit from the first and bring their own solution for the second. Thousands of megawatts of irrigation pumps and on-farm solar are deployed and available to be upgraded for tractor charging.
